New booklet: The Danish Design School 2010

New booklet: The Danish Design School 2010. Discover the potential, the history and all of the new perspectives: The Danish Design School 2010.

"We are very happy and proud of the achievements so far in 2010 - and of our legacy of 135 years of history". Rector Anne-Louise Sommer takes a look at the Danish Design School 2010:

"Innovation front runners, award-winners in climate and sustainability, new growth labs and lots  of awards and international breakthroughs for the students and staff of The Danish Design School. The Danish Design School has developed into a modern design school with an international perspective, and in 2010-2011 we will continue to take on a number of major tasks. We are moving to Holmen in Copenhagen where the design school will contribute to one of Denmark’s most dynamic and creative educational environments, and we are well into
the process of preparing a merger with the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture that is scheduled for implementation by 2011".

"Nothing can compete with a good design school graduate"

Words from Andres Byriel, CEO, Kvadrat A/S and director of the Business Panel of The Danish Design School:

“The Danish Design School is one of the best design schools in Scandinavia. The school has managed to combine a strong tradition of creativity and craftsmanship with the postindustrial demand for flexible and researchbased qualifications.

Practically every business context requires creative raw material, from ideation to the distribution stage – and here, nothing can compete with a good design school graduate.

The modernization of the education at The Danish Design School in recent years has also ensured that today’s graduates are far better prepared to help solve complex, technological
and content-related design challenges.”
